Frence Journalist being released

A group in Colombia that is called Farc has decided to release a France journalist that was captured two weeks ago. Romeo Langlois was kidnapped by Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia two weeks ago. The date of his release is unknown. Romeo is a reporter for France 24, and while he was in Columbia he was caught in a firefight while the troops carried out an anti-drug raid in Caqueta. Caqueta is known to be a place of refuge for Columbia rebels.  Senator Piedad Cordoba will be the one to negotiate the date of release for the young journalist. France has high hopes that he will return in good condition.

  1. Wow! That was the most interesting blog I've read today. Poor Romeo Langlois! That must of been so scary for him to be away from his family for that long. I hope those people from Colombia have learned a lesson after taking an innocent man away and bringing him into all that junk. That's so sad.

  2. That's very interesting, Kiana! I would hate to be Romeo Langlois! He being caught in the middle of a firefight and being captured and all. He must have missed his friends and family so much and I bet they missed him and worried about him so much. I bet he was scared too. I enjoy reading your blogs and I can't wait for your next blog.
