France is considered and medium country on the world scale because it is 212, 935 square miles. Being a smaller country with many people France has a high population density. France’s population density is about 107 people per km squared. With those many people some of the main attractions in France are the Eiffel tower found in Paris and the Cathedral of Notre Dame which was built in 1163. This Cathedral is well known because of the book “The Hunch Back of Notre Dame” by Victor Hugo.

  1. That's very interesting Kiana! My country, Italy, is located in Europe too. France actually borders the country of Italy. Italy is also located in the Mediterranean Sea just like France. Our countries have a lot in common! However, my country is a little larger than your's with an area of 301,318 km2 . I'm excited to hear more about your country!

  2. Wow Kiana that is very interesting! I have always wanted to learn more about France. I also found out that Spain and France share a boarder, my country is Spain. I knew that France was a populated country but it's very interesting that the population density is 107 people per kilometre square. Spain has a population density of 78 people per kilometre square. I'm looking forward to learning even more about your country Spain!

  3. Thats pretty cool Kiana! Your country sounds pretty interesting. I am doing the country Russia. My country is a lot bigger than yours though. Mine has 17 million nsquared km compared to Spain's 212 thousand sq. km. My country has a pop density of about 8.5 people per sq. km. I guess its a little more roomy in my country. Cant wait for your next post. See ya!

  4. Your countryu sounds very interesting Kiana! England is also located in Europe and is pretty close to France! You country has an area of 212, 935 while England has an area of 129, 720! Your country is not much bigger than mine. England's population density is 365 people while France's is only 107! France has a much less population density! I look forward to learning more about France!
